About Us

Animation studio NMTrix (formerly New Media Trix) is based in the Netherlands and is the leader in 3D character design and animation.

We are now working 14 years on behalf of advertising agencies, TV producers and other business clients on commercials, leaders, bumpers, product presentations, artist's impressions for architecture and real estate projects, technical and medical instructional videos, medical presentations and online games. Currently we are working on our first TV production. Our studio has a virtual ambassador, Art. He can be followed him on Twitter and Facebook.

Our studio can be visited in Alkmaar, two minutes walk from the train station and two minutes drive from the ring road. We currently occupy the top two floors of this building, but also the former nightclub 'the basement' in the basement. The disco is mainly used for presentations and networking events.

Our company has been selected for the exclusive FastForward program. This is an initiative of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and governments in North Holland, Flevoland and Utrecht. Only companies with the potential to grow substantially are allowed to take part. NMTrix provides according to the organisation an important contribution to employment and innovation in a region.

Director Patrick Nijman has recently joined the Creative Board Alkmaar. This platform is an initiative of the City Development Company and North- Holland North It's main objective is to strengthen the creative sector in Alkmaar and to give it a voice.

NMTrix is a member of the Dutch Association of Animation Producers.
